Reading a TruScan scan

A scan reports separate observations about a Solana token. Read each result on its own.

A passed check means the data met that check’s pass condition. Read its explanation, then use the Guide for the exact inputs, thresholds and limits.

01

Three check states

Passed

The check met its stated pass condition. For example, a passed mint-authority check means the mint authority is revoked.

Needs attention

The check found the condition it names, such as an active authority. That is a fact about the contract state, not proof of anyone’s intent.

Not checked

The required data could not be read. It is neither a pass nor a failure, and it is excluded from the passed and attention counts. Checks that do not apply may be omitted instead.

Counts cover applicable checks. A graduated-curve note explains that the curve check no longer applies, without adding a pass or a not-checked result.

Example: the graduated-curve note sits beside the counts and isn’t one of them.
02

What does the name check establish?

The identity comparison looks for known tokens on TruScan’s own list. It can say that a mint is on that list, that a different mint uses a listed name or ticker, or that a name is only similar. See the identity check details for its matching boundaries.

Listed token mintEPjFWd…TDt1v
This token’s mint9xQe…Wq2c
Example: same ticker, different mint address. The mint is what identifies a token.

For a token labeled as a look-alike, follow the listed token’s contract link and compare the mint address.

A similar name alone does not establish that a token is a copy.

03

What does the creator-wallet result cover?

This check reads the current token balance of one identified pump.fun creator wallet. Other wallets are outside the check; see the creator-wallet check for its inputs and threshold.

Where do I see the holders?

Choose “Run Deep Dive” to see current balances for selected early buyers and the creator; the Deep Dive guide describes that sample. The top-holder figure covers ten wallets. For holder distribution and transfer connections, open the token on Bubblemaps ↗ (opens in a new tab)

05

How should I read the chart and market figures?

Price, liquidity, volume and the chart use DEX Screener data. Market cap uses scanned supply and provider price where available. Figures can be cached; the chart updates separately.

Charts stay off until you choose “Load chart” or remember automatic loading. DEX Screener receives your IP and may use cookies; see Privacy.
